Foundations – STARTING APRIL 13th
“And they devoted themselves to the Apostle’s teaching…” -Acts 2:42
The early church actively pursued an understanding of what the apostle’s
taught and believed, and so should we. The Foundations class seeks to
provide a forum for discussion and interaction with some of the central
tenets of Christianity. If you’ve been following JESUS for a while or
you’re brand new to the faith – or even if you’re somewhere in between -
this is an opportunity for you to connect with other believers in our
church and to learn together what we believe at the core and why.
We’ll spend time every week studying the Scriptures, praying together, and
discussing what we’re learning as a group. The idea isn’t to just throw out
information – but rather that we would discover as a church what the Bible
teaches us about what we believe as Christians. We’ll cover topics like:
what we believe about GOD, the Trinity (FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT), the
Bible, Sin, Humankind, the Gospel, and the Church.
