In an effort to return to an authentic expression of the Church of JESUS as found in the scriptures, the leadership of MissioDei sees it essential to call Christ followers into smaller communities of faith to experience and proclaim the transformative power of the GOSPEL together.

Gospel Communities are ten to fifteen people gathering regularly in homes to grow in relationship with GOD and one another. A meal could be shared as lives are shared as well. During the evening the scriptures will be central as the GOSPEL is proclaimed. People will pray; pray for one another and pray for their neighborhoods to experience the love of JESUS. Sometimes the group will take walks together, BBQ together, enjoy their neighborhood and city together, all the while experiencing the power of GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST together.

Join us for this eight week class focused on equiping the current gospel community leaders and anyone interested in starting their own!

We’ve been struck lately with how God has been moving in our midst as a community, both as we’ve spent time in the letters of Revelation and as we’ve looked at the last week of Jesus’ life. Throughout the MissioDei community, we’re hearing of, and seeing, significant life transitions as God is drawing people to Himself in love and faithfulness. We are, as much as ever, aware of what a good, gracious Father He is, and are moved to know that His heart is for us and that He dwells with us.

This week, we’ll take time to pause, reflect and celebrate the outpouring of His great love as evidenced by the events of Good Friday and Easter. We hope you’ll join us in that, and that you’ll reach out to invite someone in your midst who needs to hear of the scandalous love of God – both in the sobering cross and the exultant empty tomb.

Join us as we reflect upon the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life, listening to the unfolding of events as recorded in scripture and focusing through song on the harsh reality of Jesus’ betrayal and subsequent crucifixion.

Celebrate with us as we rejoice in the reality of the empty tomb and explore what it means to live in light of Jesus’ resurrection, moving out into our neighborhoods with messages of joy and grace.

Continue the celebration in the evening as our community joyfully dances to make much of Jesus and the amazing grace that the gospel brings – freeing us from sin, rescuing us from death and enabling us to live out a life of radical love and generosity. Bring yourself. Bring your friends.

The Apostle Paul, writing to the church in Ephesus, ends his prayer with this beautiful proclamation, “And GOD put all things under JESUS’ feet and gave HIM as head over all things to the church, which is HIS body, the fullness of JESUS, who fills all in all” (Ephesians 1:22-23). Indeed, Paul begins this section simply by affirming the Ephesian believers for two things: their faith in JESUS and their love for each other (sound familiar?). But he continues by revealing to us what exactly he prays for on their behalf. Namely, that GOD would grant them wisdom, hope, and power. Join our community for the next four weeks as we consider together what it means to find wisdom and knowledge of GOD, hope, and power, all through JESUS CHRIST, who fills all in all!
