Unity :: one church | one SPIRIT | one city

People can’t seem to agree on anything these days. Disagreements, factions, and outright conflict exist in every strata of our society. From the global front to the church community to the realm of interpersonal relationships division and disconnectedness seem to be the norm. All too often we rally against something rather than rallying around something – or more pertinently around someone. But Scripture calls us to something more, something deeper, something greater than our own little worlds and agendas.

Join us these next few weeks as we return to the Apostle Paul’s admonition to the Ephesian church to ‘be diligent to preserve the unity of the SPIRIT in the bond of peace.’

We long to be a community that is united. Together. Of one heart and mind. One church by one HOLY SPIRIT for one city – our city, Chicago. That all might encounter JESUS through the testimony of our unity in the SPIRIT. Me for the community, the community for the world.
