We’re pretty laid back, so wear what you’re comfortable in. We’re also pretty welcoming, so expect to be greeted by someone – at least once. From there, we’ll sing together, have time to meet people around us and be taught out of the Scriptures. We also take communion every week and usually have some time after the talk to consider what’s been said and process how we might respond to GOD in that.
As a community of JESUS, we believe that consistently gathering together as a larger group is vital to growing together and developing deeper relationship – both with GOD and with one another. In most of our times together, whether that’s on Sunday or other times during the week, our gatherings will be marked by an expectation of meeting with and hearing from GOD together – through worship, prayer and learning from the scriptures.

We believe that sustained life-change happens within the context of community. And so in keeping with who Jesus is, why He came, and how He carried out His mission... MissioDei exists as a church of Gospel Communities. It's through these groups of 10-15 people, meeting in homes during the week throughout the city, that we are joining God as He makes all things new. Our dream is to be missional outposts in the midst of where we live and play as we experience the power of the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST together.
Wherever you are in your journey we invite you to join us. For information about when & where GCs meet and to get connected, click HERE or go to FIND YOUR GC & GATHERING in the COMMUNITY menu above.
Both of our morning gatherings (Bucktown and Wrigleyville) offer Children's Ministry using the ORANGE Curriculum. ORANGE combines a child's two primary spiritual influences- the home (RED = love) and the church (YELLOW = light) and synchronizes them with the same strategy towards the same end goal. When you combine RED and YELLOW, you get ORANGE! To watch a video introducing Orange, go to http://whatisorange.org/ and click on the "What is Orange?" box. ORANGE focuses on providing tools and resources created for parents to use at home so that your home becomes a hub of on-going spiritual training and Bible-based learning for your children. In Deuteronomy 6:5-7, Moses instructs the people of Israel to “....love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."
