As we consider how GOD has moved in and through us this past year there is so much to be grateful for. The blessings have been countless, the provisions have been many, and evidences of HIS grace are all around us. We can be filled with great joy as we can confidently say that the SPIRIT of the LORD is at work in our church. That truth excites me greatly. At the end of the day, I want to be where GOD is at work . . . and I believe we are. There were many milestones in 2012. We launched our first Vision Campaign to raise necessary funds to purchase our first building, as well as to begin a church planting and renewal fund. Many of you stepped out in faith in exemplary ways and gave liberally to help see this dream come to fruition. Additionally, our Gospel Communities continue to grow and multiply throughout the city, almost doubling in number from this time last year. Many of them have a far-reaching impact into schools, communities, and lives that need to be introduced to the hope of the Gospel. Through GOD’s sovereignty, we were also able to see a third congregation blossom in Logan Square. This congregation is the first of ten congregations we believe will develop over the next ten years throughout Chicago. These events are extremely significant in our journey and all of them point back to things that GOD is doing in our midst. Yet the Kingdom of GOD among us cannot be quantified or limited to just numbers on a page; there is spiritual fruit all around us. I am overjoyed that in 2012 we became a community that is abiding in JESUS more, relying upon the SPIRIT more heavily, and seeking the glory of the FATHER more passionately. We are praying more than ever before, sharing the Gospel with more frequency and stepping into the broken places more readily. I praise GOD for all of these things! I commend you for your love of GOD and your desire to see HIS Kingdom come to Chicago as it is in Heaven. May GOD have HIS way in us and may we experience HIS fullness continually. I am so proud to grow up into Christ with you. GOD is building the church of MissioDei for HIS purposes and HIS glory. Thank you for your service and your radical generosity. Thank you for your unending commitment to the LORD and for being on mission to make disciples neighborhood by neighborhood as we seek to join GOD as HE makes all things new. Thank you for your interest in learning more about our giving and stewardship. Our giving is broken into three separate areas. First of all, we have our operational budget that covers expenses such as meeting spaces, discipleship, development, compassion, compensation. The second area is our Barnabas Fund. …there were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them, and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need… Acts 4.34-35 Inspired by, and in the spirit of, the early church, we’ve created a fund to specifically meet needs within the MissioDei community. Since it’s not part of the annual church budget, your giving goes directly to those who need it most. Thirdly, our church provides local and global missionaries and pastoral residents with financial and administrative support. If you have any questions or would like information about financial counseling, please contact our Church Administrator This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
